Interested in ancient history? Make a stop at the excavation site of the Teatro Romano, an amphitheater that dates back to the third century. While there, explore the nearby Alcazaba, a fortification built by the Moors in the 11th century. You're sure to enjoy the museum and gardens. The Alcazaba connects to Castillo de Gibralfaro, high atop Mount Gibralfaro. From there you can see dramatic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea.

Please Note: The Avenida de Andalucia stop is currently suspended until further notice. There are 2 bus routes that follow the same, seasonal schedule. The Red Route runs every 40 minutes and it takes approximately 80 minutes to complete without getting off. The Green Route runs every 80 minutes and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete; however, please bear in mind that times are always subject to change. During the winter months (December through February), the Red and Green routes run every 20 minutes.
